We are accepting abstracts for Research Papers 2025
Read carefully the details given below
CORE THEMES
Submissions may relate to one or more of the following three core themes:

DEVELOPING KNOWLEDGE of Buddhist Architectural Culture and its Conservation
- Materials, techniques, iconography, decorative arts, and continuing skills
- Defining tangible and intangible heritage and their interdependence for living heritage traditions
- Intangible heritage – rituals, language & traditions
- Preserving Buddhist chants, scripts, and oral traditions

EXPLORING SYNERGIES between Contemporary Communities and Buddhist Legacies
- Sustainable development, pilgrimage, tourism and its linkages
- Identification of and planning for conservation and development of rural Buddhist heritage sites – Indian and international experiences
- Safeguarding pilgrimage traditions
- Engaging monastic and lay communities in heritage conservation

TRANSLATING CONSCIOUSNESS INTO ACTION for the Benefit of Rural Societies
- Funding, partnerships & sustainability

PAPER SUBMISSION STEPS
Step 1 – Apply by sending an ‘Abstract’ of your research paper
Follow these Guidelines for abstract submission:
- Mention: Name of the Author/ Authors
- Mention: Title of paper
- Text of abstract 300–500 words (in word & pdf format both)
- Font: Times new roman - 12
- Keyword up to 8
- Include: Short CV Profile (150 – 300 words in pdf format)
- Affiliation of author/ authors with university/ institutes
- Mention: Contact Address
- Mention: Contact email address & Phone Number
- Latest Passport-size photo (150 dpi, JPG format)

Email Subject: Your Name, Abstract – [Topic Name]
Example: Sh. Sanjay Badala, Abstract – Conservation at Piprahwa
Step 2 – Review
Your abstract will be reviewed by the technical committee. If selected, a confirmation email will be sent by 15th September 2025.
Step 3 – Submit Full Paper
Selected participants will be invited to submit a full paper of 2500–3000 words, along with relevant presentation/publication.
Step 4 – Register as a Delegate
