The Life of Gautama Buddha

Date: 08-Jan-2025 | ITRHD

The mega opera, 'Life of Gautam Buddha', is the narrative of an icon who impacted us and inspired millions of people. Whose philosophy is the legacy he has left behind, most relevant in today's troubled times. This "value creating" theatre traces the life of Siddhartha, born as a prince into the lap of luxury, yet breaking out of the clutches of pleasure & materialism to merge with the Buddha nature within. He shows us how to transcend the inescapable suffering caused by Birth, Aging, Sickness and Death and enter the realm of balance, compassion and equanimity.

An original script, written and directed by Lushin Dubey and Bubbles Sabharwal from Theatreworld that fuses music and dance with drama, to create a narrative rich in colour, storytelling and performances. Join us to experience a memorable evening, showcasing the Life of Gautam Buddha.
